If these photos make you squint, you can blame Canada for my new ridiculously bright orange pants -- I bought them at the
Joe Fresh pop-up shop on Madison Avenue for $49 a few weeks ago. In honor of the Canadian brand's
flagship store grand opening, here is my first "typical style blog post" on how I wore my new pants for their first appearance. Can't wait to check out their new space on 5th Ave at 43rd Street!
After looking at the photos my husband snapped before leaving for work this morning, I promptly removed the belt. What do you think?
Also, what are your thoughts on pairing these pants with a black top? Too Halloween-y or is that rule as old fashioned as the no-white-after-Labor-Day rule?

A billowy white shirt tucked in might be a better choice and more on trend for 2012. |

Will my badonkadonk stop traffic in traffic-cone-orange? |
Time to chug coffee and hit the town!

I LOVE that outfit. I think it looks complete with the belt and I would stick with the white/ivory/off white shirt and not black.
WOWZA!!
I love your outfit.
Uh - your gorgeous!
Gorgeous! We've been digging Joe Fresh since they launched 6 years ago. Lovely threads by Joe Mimran co-founder of Club Monaco. *swoon*
You look hip ! You make this trend very wearable! Love the shoes!!!!!! Skip the black, keep the belt !
I love those shoes and the pants. It is very flattering the color on you
I just found the brand Joe Fresh and love them - so affordable!
You look great! I love the animal print with the fun pants :)
I love Joe fresh! I also saw those trousers but they didnt have my size. It looks nice on you!!! Avoid black but maybe some stripe top french style?!
Love the pants. I did read no black with anything orange to avoid Halloween look. I bougth an orange tank top & am constantly taking it off b/c of this & my love of black!

Love the pants!
Love the orange pants- but I would steer away from pairing them with black- I think you will feel too 'halloweeny' as you said. What about trying a chambray shirt? I love orange and blue together!
Found you from Monday Mingle.
The orange pants look so cool with the animal print heels. Your baby is darling. Great poses...
